《梦门》讲述新婚夫妇Ji llian及Tom其实互有秘密，当他们在地下室发现一道神秘﹑陌生的门时，那些秘密将会威胁到二人的婚姻……甚至性命安危。Maria Sten饰演Jillian Hope Hodgson，景观设计师的她新近与童年好友Tom结婚，他们搬到Tom长大的房子里，希望把它打造成理想家园。Brandon Scott饰演Tom Hodgson，能干周到的他深爱着妻子。

Steven Robertson饰演Ian，Jillian及Tom的隔壁邻居，他是个无先入之见的心理学研究生，Ian与主角们一同感受了那神秘门后的奇异经历。Steven Weber饰演Jillian的心理治疗师Abel Carnacki，Jillian的长期倾诉者，因此Abel理解她的真正问题。安静﹑节制，称得上「冷面」的他有时会触怒Jillian，尤其是她试图解释地下室那神秘的门时。
