◎简　　介

　　在一起平常的交通事故中,肇事受伤的司机罗柏斯(韦斯利·斯奈普斯 饰)竟被警方发现是一名职业杀手.他因枪杀了两名政府外交特使 ,而遭警方全面通缉.这起意外使罗柏斯被捕,并且移送纽约市受审.

　　押解人犯往纽约的专机就要起飞,火爆警探吉瑞德(汤米·李·琼斯 饰)亲自押送两名犯人上机.在飞行途中,一名人犯突然掏出夹带的手枪,对同在机上的罗柏斯射击,子弹一枪命中机窗,使飞机立即吸入强劲的气流造成失压、失速,约于坠毁于急湍的大河中,造成重大死伤.而罗柏斯在协助吉瑞德救难后,却趁机逃逸...

　　本片由Tommy Lee Jones和Wesley Snipes担纲,在充裕经费的支持下,一些象飞机失事这样的大场面和惊险镜头自然拍得得心应手,事实上这也是本片最为人称道的部分.但在复杂的叙事交织下,人物性格略嫌不够鲜明,尤以Wesley Snipes差强人意.延续1993年类似题材的巨作《The Fugitive》叫好又叫座的辉煌,本片战绩不俗,但大部分观众都认为本片不如《The Fugitive》.
